We leave the kids in the car, with the windows cracked. They have permission to shoot paintballs at anyone who leaves a cart on the lot, as long as they don't get caught.

It keeps them quiet. Cody is like a ninja assassin, and Dustin is learning fast.

I'm sorry that you are even in the gene pool. Do the world a favor and drink a gallon of bleach.

Further south you go = more carts left in the parking lot. White, black, rich, poor. I've seen them all do it.

As a teen I worked at Home Depot for a while, and I sometimes had the unfortunate duty of being one of the cart boys
I worked at Lowe's and was a regular in the parking lot getting carts. From that experience, along with actually working retail, I have and always will follow the following rule: I will do anything that I wouldn't want to do after 8 hours of work in retail.

It applies to shopping carts, realizing you don't want that rump roast or extra can of food at the register, leaving items in different departments, etc. The list goes on.

Yes, I was paid to pick up the carts, gather my department items, front stock the shelves, but I also understand after doing those things and dealing with the general public for 8 hours, who tend to have little remorse, my extra 30 feet of walking to put a cart back or return an item to its shelf saves someone like my old self from staying another hour after closing to gather those carts or get 10 different tools from across the store that someone left.

Moral of the post: being considerate goes a long way.

Oh absolutely. The worst offenders of negligence in grocery stores are often older white folks with plenty money.

I was behind an older lady the other day in Fresh Market checkout line who unloaded groceries, paid for them, grabbed the bags they were put into.. and just left her cart in the register line. Like right in front of me/the credit card machine. I was like who the hell does this lady think is standing by to take her cart from the middle of the register line?

I normally hate these types of people, but lately I've had such bad experiences with employees in grocery stores that I'm beginning to think the "a-hole" customers are just fed up and dishing back out what they receive.

I always walk my cart back inside at Fresh Market. More time to admire the scenery.

shite, that is perfect and efficient, no need to be upset. Now it won't hit any vehicles and it won't get wet if it rains. Plus it is there for convenience as you unload your cart the bagger can put them in her cart. I hope you left your cart for the person behind you.
