I'm currently unemployed but if I was working I think I would call in today.

What kind of work do you think you’d be doing?

trashy

Overused and often-incorrectly used word.

They even had a commercial about how many people call in sick. It's not "trashy," but it is kinda dumb to. Monday after the Super Bowl is an easy day at work because most people are groggy from the night before.

I'm currently unemployed

Trashy.

Living with your SO before being married is trashy, this isn't.

Why do we have to ask if everything is trashy? Irresponsible maybe.

Once (many years ago) I called in sick at 4 am, I was still up drinking and left my boss a message.

About 30 minutes later I forgot I called and left another message

Didn't go over well

The NFL and the host cities make more money with it being on Sunday. That will never change.

Unemployed is trashier than calling in sick.

I don't know anything about your reasons for unemployment, but I am willing to bet that a questionable work ethic has nothing to do with it.

Having to "call in" is trashy.

Having to clarify if something is trashy or not.....is trashy. The trashiest people are the ones starting “is _______ trashy?”

If so then a lot of people are trashy. It’s historically the day of the year with the highest rate of people calling in sick.

Calling in sick on a Monday, after a holiday, or after the super bowl raises flags.
