Is it possible to give Bama the silent treatment when they enter Death Valley?

Could you imagine if 100k people sat still and quiet when Bama comes out of the tunnel? Just stone cold faces. Then even wait a minute or two for Bama to get to their sidelines and calm down....

Then let the 100k fans loose when LSU busts out. The coordinators need to bring back some spirit to DV. Gotta instill that doubt into their minds right before they take the field.

There's a little college that does the silent treatment in basketball. Crowd remains silent until a certain score is hit.

Only if you can get 100k people to follow your dumb idea after a day of binge drinking.

I don’t like to scream either when I’m enjoying a nice soy latte.

It should be easy to get Tiger Stadium quiet. Just tell the LSU fans to pretend it's the second half.

(Then tell everyone who gets up to leave the stadium that they need to sit back down again.)

The silent treatment idea would probably get more traction if you organized it for after halftime.

Would be cool but won't happen.

Opposing teams usually run out immediately after the home team while the crowd is cheering.

Ok so judging by the responses, it doesn’t look like this was a good idea after all.

And I think for the most part, Death Valley isn’t filled with the awesome drunks like it used to be. (Hope to be proven wrong next saturday) College kids and adults used to camp out and would go nuts over the team, now these snowflakes stay sober and have their soy lattes and leave at halftime. It’s not just an LSU thing either. Bama has the same problem. Nick Saban has called their fans out every year for the past 4 years.

Ok, so what are some good ideas to make this game extra hype? What can the fans do collectively to pump up the team and the crowd?

Can you imagine the backlash if LSU organized a movement called “The White Out” though

Scooba,

That’s my point my man. Why don’t the coordinators play their hand better? They have control over things like that right? Time to switch that up
