Is It Our Responsibility To Save The Polar Bears?

Anyone seen that commercial? It was some Polar Bear charity commercial telling everyone it is on us to save the polar bears.
I am not saying polar bears are not important.. I am sure they are.. But am I going to donate to a charity that supposedly saves them? How is this charity using the money to help preserve them?
Anyway, I thought that commercial was funny because it was so serious and just all of a sudden asked something like "Do you care about polar bears?".. Out of all the things I could donate to, the fricking polar bears are waaaaaay down on the list.
