Is it normal to have a gender reveal party for your 4th child.

I am invited to one. I am not saying it is good or bad. I am just wondering? I can understand for the first child, but do people normally have these things for their fourth child.

It is normal if you live in ascension parish and your first 3 are in travel ball.

Gender reveals are dumb. White women just do shite for the sole purpose of posting the pics on their social media

Personally I find it to be bigoted and transphobic no matter which child you’re on.

Sex reveal.

The baby will decide its gender later.

Never underestimate the attention whores habits. Just as trashy as having a registry after your first kid.

I was told gender is assigned.

Why don't child-birthing persons simply declare the gender before even getting pregnant?

NO . But you should have a going away party for what's left of your income.

Honestly, these people are narcissistic. People don’t give a flying frick which type of baby you are having.

Even though the reveal thing is pretty dumb, if they are doing it why would the forth child be less significant than the first. ? Maybe they have 3 girls, and this one is a boy, or vice versa , that would be a bid deal for most families.

I don’t really mind gender reveal parties that are just family and really close friends. It’s a fun thing to share and another reason just to get together and drink without having to cash in chips with the wife

They better be serving some top shelf booze to get me to go. Dumb fad.

Tell them you are not going because you think gender reveal parties are dumb.

Somebody has to start putting their foot down.

Is there gonna be beer there? I mean, if it's an excuse to booze up, what's the harm?

Eta: it's still a pretty dumb thing but making it a party would definitely sweeten the deal for me anyway...

Gender reveal parties didn’t exist when I had children 16 and 18 years ago, at least I’d never heard of them.

This is a pic from a gender reveal party I attended for a 17-year-old, non-binary child last weekend.
