not specifically to you but ive done some reading on this and many believe that the fat and unhealthy are actually cheaper in the long run. it becomes very expensive to keep a person living to 90 years old or so. its better for people to die around 60, economically

Let's go back in time to the mid-1980s - back then, Louisiana (and Mississippi, for that matter) was consistently fattest or second fattest state most years. That's true today, as well by the way.
Also, back then, Colorado was consistently one of the 3 skinniest states (if they weren't consistently #1). Stay with me: Colorado in 2017 is FATTER than Louisiana was in 1987.

Hmm, interesting. Well, F em. J/k. I'm sure there are counterpoints to that data set, like the overall costs of keeping unhealthy people alive until 60. But still very interesting.
I do care even without any direct or indirect financial burden though. I hate to see people fat and inactive and believing that it's "genetics" or ok for them.

If more people ate more fried food (not in flour or corn batter and in good oil) and mayo made from olive/avocado oil, and less bread, juice and pasta (and of course other sugary foods), then we'd have a lot more skinnies to shame.
