Most socialist look older than their age. Not sure why.

Other than young Stalin, socialists tend to be ugly arse people. Check out a Bernie rally.

You may have been correct first time I was messing with you. I was on ancestry website recently and I think it was 4th great grandfather to me in CW, I’m 38. I read so many so I could be off a little, may have been 3rd.

Interesting story though, I can’t imagine being in that kind of pain back in those days, not much to help with back then

My great great grandfather on my Dad's side fought in the Battle of Vicksburg and was a POW for awhile after the battle. I'm only 42 but my Dad was 45 when I was born. My Dad's Uncle was a Marine and fought in WWI.

WRONG!!!!! Huey loved Sazeracs....

And Ramos Gin Fizzes. He brought a personal bartender to NYC with him to teach the bartender at the hotel he stayed at to make them so he could get them when he was in NYC.

Whoever came up with the "Huey Long didn't drink" bullshite needs to be forced to make those things nonstop for a single day. They'll never fricking forget the Ramos Gin Fizz again.

had to read a bio of him for a class at LSU, it said when he was in law school he'd come home from studying and have half a half gallon of beer every night to "help him sleep," I learned a lot from that book

Look at a high school yearbook from the fifties. You'd swear they were all 35 years old.

Check out pics of baseball players in the twenties and thirties. They all looked 45 years old.

the men in my mom's college yearbook all look fairly old for college kids, and they were, most had just come back from WWII, very interesting book, they look like they were trying their best to look like carefree college kids but the eyes give them away, you could tell they'd been to places that they'd rather have never been, a version of the thousand yard stare I suppose

He was born with an old face. If he had made it to 70 years old he would have been good looking.

If you think Huey was bad, you should check out the Wilfred Brimley Coccon Line (twitter).

these pics were taken when each person was 50 years old.
