Is it just AT&T cell service out in BR? Hearing Verizon works.

AT&T landline doesn't work on the northshore. I called landline to landline it it didn't go through.

No ATT cell service- but ATT dsl internet is working.

AT&T, nationally, has to be so much worse at this kind of thing than Verizon. I live in another state these days and we have twice as many dead zones as Verizon and have lost cell and internet in just really bad thunderstorms when our neighbors with Verizon don't.
Pisses me off, but I'm too lazy to switch.

I’ve been texting fine with my parents who have Verizon last night and this morning.
They are in Baton Rouge and are without power since about 8 pm

Ive always wondered if it because ATT was the old bell south so they are relying on older infrastructure where as T-mobile/old sprint/Verizon has all come in and put newer infrastructure.
TLDR T-mobile/Sprint is working

I've heard ATT is dead. VZ was spotty for calls thus morning and INET just came back up.

I have Sprint/T-Mobile in BR and haven't had an issue at all, neither has my kid. We have text, call and internet.

Verizon is working fine for me in BR, husband has AT&T and his isn’t working.

In Houma, only T-mobile is working, calls and text, and very slow data though.
Eatel just came back on at the office, god bless them.
I am not sure if our AT&T business circuits are still working.
I was trying to call them, but I would much rather have a root canal than trying to deal with them.
But I did speak with someone who did offer their thoughts and prayers from across the world.
