With Millennials and Zoomers being so entitled, they probably wouldn’t want to jump off a regular 15-20 story building since it wouldn’t be “#based” enough for them and their TokTok followers.

But if people were leaping off the Empire State Building wouldn’t there be a bunch of viral videos being spread on Twitter since everyone likes to record stuff like that all the time?

I guess they made security precautions tighter there

Jumping off isn't so bad but that sudden stop is rough

Yes, they have a no jumping sign on the roof.

There's a cage covering the observation deck.

San Fran refuses to put protective devices or nets on the Golden Gate Bridge because all of those crazy people will jump off of downtown buildings instead or fling themselves in front of BART trains, as happens in DC and other metros.

The suicide prevention "net" has been being built for several years now, and I think it is almost finished.

From this sentence, I am positive you don't know what based means

Ever have that nightmare where you're falling off a building like that?

Evelyn McHale's Wikipedia page

quote:

Evelyn Francis McHale (September 20, 1923 – May 1, 1947) was an American bookkeeper who died by suicide by jumping from the 86th-floor observation deck of the Empire State Building. A photograph taken four minutes after her death by photography student Robert Wiles subsequently gained iconic status, being referred to as "the most beautiful suicide".

quote:

It has been compared to the photograph by Malcolm Browne of the self-immolation of Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thích Qu?ng Ð?c, who burned himself alive at a busy Saigon road intersection in 1963; both are widely regarded as being among the most iconic suicide photographs.

I've never seen that picture before and that is not how I expected someone to look after jumping from that high up

I know FSU getting rejected from the AAU while Miami and USF made it sucks but everything will be okay.

The car roof must have absorbed some of the impact. People who were forced to jump from the wtc on 9/11 from about the same height and landed on concrete were unrecognizable.
