Is it beneficial for people to have experienced a form of physical violence?

Whether it be football, fighting, or combat? Is there any benefit vs those who havent? Thoughts?

Look in a history book and tell me how many conflicts weren't solved by violance.

Sure. I've always thought it's beneficial to partipate in a good ole knife fight before the age of 21. It really grows you up.

Kids who were disciplined properly as kids, are more responsible adults and parents.

Fighting taught me a lot. One of which is getting up when you get knocked down. Also taught me non violence as every situation doesn't require that level of reaction.
