When did coddling and cultural favoritism become part of our higher education systems? Tails seem to be wagging the Dog these days. Whatever happened to "Man Up" - "Grow Up" and Self-Reliance?
Are potential donors less likely to contribute to colleges that promote the practice? I find it ironic that Inclusivity and Divisiveness are often joined at the hip. Title III... are you listening?

Part of the communist plot to undermine our institutions

The Soviet Union might have crumbled, but their plan lives on here.

At the end of the day its all about money. The lower the bar, the easier it is to accept students. More students equal more student loans. The university could not care less if a student actually succeeds in class or after school, as long as they are paying those loans.

American progressives believe black people cannot succeed without the bar being lowered. Thats a fact.

Might wanna loosen up the tinfoil on your head.

It's all about money. More kids to be accepted as universities expand. More drop out, they replace them with new blood the following semester/year. Endless money supply with people taking on loans. Cycle continues.

No, it is to lower the bar in every facet of our lives in order to establish more chaos.

You can achieve equity, it just looks like N. Korea or Cuba, where everyone is dirt poor.

Think about it...is it easier to get low performers to perform better, or is it easier to take from and hold back high performers or those with the capability to be successful?

We're already seeing it with lowered standards, quotas, the removal of testing requirements and grades. Similar things happening in corporate America. The result is a slowing of progress and advancement, and a collective dumbing down and pooring down of the populace.

If this were true they would be using it to admit under qualified rich students.

All the data suggests they are using it almost exclusively to admit lower income minorities.

Almost 20 years ago I was processing in for my LockMart job at NASA and the fella I was filling my paperwork out with was a black guy from NOLA. Fast forward 10 or so years and the government contacts me because he’s an applicant for some top secret position…I was kind of shocked because he wasn’t all that bright. Anyway, the interviewer meets me and we talk. She asks if there’s anything else I can add…I say yea, the guy has a bachelors of ARTS in physics. She’s taken back about my suspicion…asks why…because there’s no such thing as a BA in physics…it IS the base of all science…and no arts. She gives me this ‘well not everyone is as privileged’…I’m staring at her like she’s got two heads. Are you fricking stupid? What did they do in those classes, draw pictures of atoms or write paragraphs about the effects of magnetism? I’m sure I’m on a list somewhere now. BA in physics…I still can’t believe shite like that exists.

Inclusivity and all its DEI brethren are euphemisms for “frick white people.” Lowering standards might result but the aim is to replace white people, esp straight white men.

FIFY. They started with the sitcom dads. Now, they're emasculating our adolescent teens and turning them into they/them/it.

I'm in college right now and I can tell you that it's not some breeze to go through. I will say that the professors are more helpful than they were 20 years ago, instead of just letting you flunk out they're much more supportive.

I really wouldn't mind the "Inclusivity" movement, as long as their Diplomas had an * on them.

not entirely true

Schools will consider lowering admission requirements for anyone who applies due to funding shortages (there are fewer college-age kids to go around). Still, your chances of being accepted without meeting the requirements increase if you're a lower-income minority.

Ehh, they want successful alumni because those alumni donate and serve as positive advertising for future students.

College never was for the folks on the lower end of the smart pole.

So your story checks out.
