I had Cosell's call of "Down Goes Frazier!" That I thought was hilarious for some reason

The only phone I have not on silent at all times is the work phone. If I could get away with it, that one would be on silent too

One day in the grocery store, a Highway to Hell ringtone went off, and it was some old grandma.

I knew then that ringtones were dead. And they were.

Almost everyone I know now has a generic tone or keeps it on silent/vibrate.

My last good one was the Tony Soprano ringtone. That one turned some heads.

My ring tone is a custom mp3 edit of the chorus from Shannon's 'Let The Music Play'. Made it with an app when I got an iPhone 3. Kept it all that time. Now on my S7 active.

let the music play

Haha I'm a huge fan of Freestyle music. That song is the unofficial first Freestyle hit (Debbie Deb 'when I hear music' was a few months later).

I hate using the default sounds since most people use them and then everybody's reaching for their phone when someone gets a text.

I use the default ringtone since I don't talk on the phone much, but my text and email tones are downloaded from Zedge. Text tone is the heart tone from Zelda: OOC.

Did you know the game Zelda was named for F Scott Fitzgerald's wife? True shite.

How about ring back tones?

A few times a year I'll call someone who has one, usually they are big time rednecks or big time gangstas.

Just called someone yesterday who had the Duke's of Hazard song. It was awesome.

The best phone of that era was the Ericksson egg. I once dropped one in a deep fryer set at 400. It took me a few seconds to find tongs.
I took it out and it was melted, but just the case. Changed the case and it was good to go. Took a few days to get the grease out.

I also had a Nokia in 1996 when they weren't common. I let a girl I was seeing use it. I joked "don't drop it in the toilet" well. She dropped it in the sink. Came back crying phone was dead. I didn't want to tell my parents so I put phone up in cabinet. The next morning it was ringing(phone batteries used to last days) I got it and it was dry and good to go.

I use a different and special ring tone for my wife when she calls. That way when my phone is not near me, I don't have to stop what I am doing to pick it up.

Zedge.
