re: Is Gen X the only current generation that's not softer than the generation before it?

I would say most Iraqi war vets are Gen X.
18 in 2003 would be born 1985. Millennials start in 1981 so probably mixed, though I think 1980s millenials are way different than 1990s ones

Nobody is more materialistic than the boomers though.

1980 is millennial. Someone born in 1980 has way more in common with someone born in 1985 than someone born in 1975.

Dude you’ve been here 18 years and you are still falling for this bit?

I’m right in the heart of Gen X, age wise. We were called lazy, slackers, and unambitious.
The worm seems to have turned. But we are very lucky to remember life before everyone was online and so angry all the time. The 80s were a perfect time to grow up.

No I’m a millenial, I grew up with the internet so statistically I’m smarter than you 80s kid boomers that huffed glue and watched mtv

They’re called boomers because they blew up stuff in ww2

You are a dipshit. I’m a Gen X born in 1969. I served in the Gulf WAR in both Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I also served in Afghanistan for 2 years in 2002. I will thank most millennials for just about nothing.

Hard to disagree.
I feel sad for anyone that didnt experience pre-Y2K. If gen x doesn't figure out how to get this place back on track, then the America we know will never be back.

Holy shite. Seriously? You’re an idiot.
- The greatest generation survived the depression and won ww2.
- Baby boomers protested Vietnam and smoked dope listening to the greatful dead. They birthed us genx’ers and left us to fend for ourselves.
Jesus Christ you people are fricking stupid

I was the youngst in my family, and born at the very beginning of Gen X, so my parents were the "greatest" generation.
Them and my inlaws were tough as fricking nails, so not true for me.
