It's good to know I'm not the only person that hates summer.

As a kid it was the best season growing up, now.... not so much

Not in Louisiana. Maybe farther north where they have seasons.

Hate to agree with Jet's former life partner, but yeah, in Louisiana it has to be early to mid Spring. North ArKansas and above, yeah, Fall is where it's at.

October-May are the only reason south LA is bearable. The summer months are pure misery. I hate it more with each passing year. Goal in life is to have a summer home somewhere up north where it doesn't get above 80.

Ha! I was just talking to a friend about that the other day. It's sad that I was counting down the days the cooler weather for almost two weeks. The minute I saw it on the extended forecast I started wishing my miserably humid/hot life away in hopes of some porch sitting weather. Or enjoying gumbo without breaking a sweat!

thats 8 months out of the year...that is much more than most places have. At least we dont have to deal with snow and ice for 7 months

it's not that bad, at least you can go swimming or within driving distance to a beach or to the coast.

Meh. I hate being suffocated by humidity when I walk outside. I'm not well equipped. Some clairvoyant (sp?) once told me that in my former life I was a mother of 5 in Oregon. She said that's why I hate our weather. I choose to believe her

It was like September 26 and we hadn't come within 5 degrees of the average high for the month yet in Atlanta. Thankfully the numbers are starting to creep down now.

This summer wasn't blazingly hot for me, it was just unbelievably consistent in the low-mid 90s.

I can deal with the humidity for a few months as long as I dont have to deal with snow and ice for 6-7 months

Yeah I never get hot on the beach or in my boat.

I can't stand winter.
