Well I pretty much only wear my hat to work (or golf) so I do throw it up there occasionally. I don't really care what anyone else thinks.

I throw it up there if I'm not planning on wearing it wherever I'm going. I'm not displaying it per say, but I just store it there. Oh dear God, am I trashy?!?

If you are using it as decoration, it's trashy. If it's temporary and you only use it while driving, you're just being practical.
