When's the last time you heard of a child in America dying from starvation, excluding crazy parents that purposely torture and withhold food?
I was unable to find any record from the CDC or any food lobby, advocacy group, or fake charity citing the death of an American child due to starvation/malnourishment.
No one on Quora could either:
How many children die of starvation in the USA each year?

This is a Child abuse problem not a hunger problem. That's like saying a child that was beaten up by a parent is suffering from an excess of bruises.

ve seen plenty of kids who should be getting fed but aren’t because their parents abuse the system

As someone who sees mothers in the grocery store shopping for their 3 kids, no one gets more food than those shopping for adolescents.
i tend to stick with essentials, meats and vegetables, cleaning supplies and beer.
what does the mom with 3 kids get? snacks and cookies and pizzas and a bunch of bullshite. no cleaning supplies. nothing from the produce section. no beer for dad.

That's because it doesn't happen. Anyone who has a hungry child can literally walk outside and knock on a door, and someone will give them a slice of bread. Any church in America will load you up with at minimum a big box of groceries. There is food everywhere. Kids and adults don't starve, unless they have someone crazy that won't let them out the house.
Hell, I'm hungry every day around this time. I deal with adult hunger every single day. But people aren't starving in this country. That's a myth.

I don’t care if the children are hungry

Always said, the United Stated has the fatest poor people in the world...

Maybe it's message boards in general, but I've never seen a place so actively work to justify the fact that they simply don't give a shite about anybody but themselves.

The sad thing is that people in America have no idea what hunger really is. Our "poor" are suffering from an obesity epidemic. Michelle Obama spent years fighting fast food companies in urban areas.
Our poor have cars, new TVs and free food. Go to India and tell them about our hunger epidemic. These food "charities" are reprehensible. Their financial statements are public. And no one seems to care that only a single digit percentage of the money they receive goes to feed people. The same is true with animal charities like the ASPCA. The ASPCA doesn't even give money to shelters, they give money to other "charities". What those charities do with the money is anyone's guess.

The ONLY times I’ve ever seen this is when the parents are junkies or are mentally incompetent, like when borderline retarded people have kids. There’s a few cases of psycho parents starving their kids on purpose too but Ive never been involved with them. When the state gets involved, it’s usually listed as “failure to thrive.”

There is literally no reason any child in this country should starve. Someone is spending the food stamps or free money on other stuff besides food.
This another reason I get a kick out of ungrateful fcks in this country that say they wish they could live in Africa. Yeah see how that EBT card works in Nigeria or how long it takes for that welfare check to show up.

It's just rabble.
I care about hungry kids but in this decade it's 100% on the parents.

Food insecurity” is a statistic designed to mislead. USDA defines food insecurity as being “uncertain of having, or unable to acquire, enough food to meet the needs of all their members because they had insufficient money or other resources for food.” USDA noted: “For most food-insecure households, the inadequacies were in the form of reduced quality and variety rather than insufficient quantity.”
So all the ******* buying food with food stamps that isnt quality, like grape drank, still makes them "hungry".
Got it

Real tough to give a shite when people wearing designer clothing buy 3 carts full of snack cakes with a Louisiana Purchase card and load it into an expensive vehicle all while talking on a wireless headset.
Hell, I even brought food to Buddhist Monks at a temple and it was the biggest chore for them to greet me and accept it and sprinkle some incense around.
Hope they have a direct line for prayers because I won’t waste my time enabling the lazy and feeding the ungrateful.

I don't give a shite about them, but I do care about the litter of kids they are raising and how their fate is basically set a birth. They are the ones suffering by following in their parent's ignorant footsteps because they weren't raised properly
