Married 26 years to my lover and best friend. She really does make my life so much better.

Have 3 kids but only two still at home in high school. We are enjoying the time with our kids and enjoying cheering them on in their school activities, but planning on enjoying our future together as empty nesters.

Honestly, I guess we are lucky because marriage has never been difficult or something we had to work at. We have always gotten along well.

In.

My wife and I piss each other off regularly but it’s generally a very happy marriage. 20 years. Takes work, prayer, and self sacrifice.

Very happily married for 23 years. Great daughter who just started college. My job is challenging and a bit more stressful of late but the trade off is I’m making more money than ever. Probably can retire in 6 more years or so. Not bad!

My wife is my best friend. She was there through my cancer treatments. Married for 24 years, 2 kids , 3 grandkids and one on the way. Now there has been a few rough spots over the years. At 56 she’s still beautiful ( no pics lol) smart and funny. I definitely outkicked my coverage

I am married...still. Not really sure how to judge the happiness. We aren't a fake 10 happy like Facebook Warriors, but we aren't on the cusp of divorce or abusing each other either. We have a some small swings and some big swings in both directions, but both satisfied with life together

I like to joke about my wife sometimes on here but in reality, I don’t deserve how incredibly loyal, loving, and caring she is. She’s a fantastic wife and an even better mother to my kids. I’m very happy.

I'm happy, the wife is happy, and the girlfriend is happy.

Neither of them could stand to be around me full time.

Life is all about balance.

Nobody is actually going to admit their marriage sucks unless it is truly in the shitter.

I've only seen a handful of people here talk about their wife with respect. Particularly when the "what does your spouse do that pisses you off" topics come up. It's insane what some people on here say about their S/Os. If they are jokes, at best they're bad ones, at worst a lot of people on this board harbor deep seated resentment that would be better off discussed with a professional.

My wife and I do almost everything together and love it. We rarely get under each other's skin. When I have a project, I don't give a frick if it's building something, finances, life plans, scrubbing the floor, etc. I want her input because she's a smart capable person. A lot of posts on here make me want to throw up when the topic of women come up. It's as if people have it in their head that men are better than women overall, which is untrue aside from some specific biological differences.

I complain but I'm well aware that the things I complain about are petty and ultimately don't really matter. Yes, it drives me crazy that she piles stuff up on top of the trash can instead of taking it out. Does that mean I don't love her or that I'm not happy? No.

I'm a pretty lucky guy especially considering all the stupid shite I've done in the past and how hard I am to live with.

One thing that really bothers me is she doesn't want to leave Louisiana.
