My wife has a friend that adopted 2 black girls. They are not related by blood and she got them about a year apart. Their moms were young teens and could not raise a baby.
They speak with just a touch of country twang. They are good students. They are respectful. They may have heritage questions later, but for now they know somebody loves them, feeds them, and takes them to Disney.

I have no problem with it, kids have a good home filled with love. How it should be.
I worked on the Navajo reservation for four years. Lots of dysfunction there. Problem is there are many kids who need foster care or adopted. Thing is the tribe will only allow other Navajos to get these children so many go without. Didn't want them to lose their "culture". Navajos are all about being Navajo. Smh
