Is anybody else dumbfounded that there are still people masking up at the grocery store?

I recently entered a masker’s 3 ft space only momentarily, because she was taking forever, in order to grab a box of oatmeal, all whilst excusing myself with a smile, and her eyes almost bugged out of her head, like any minute the Covid boogie monster would slay her.

I’ve truly never imagined there would be a segment of the population that would still be hanging on to that fear. Someone really should do a psychological study on this phenomenon.

I bathed and even shaved very close, just in case someone might want to smooch on Valentine’s Day.

I’m surprised y’all are so ate up by it and can’t just let other people do what they want.

It’s a bit strange TBH

In the store? S*** I see them in their cars by themselves and outside walking their dogs with mask on.

I still see a few here in Arkansas but I assume it’s because they’re sick, not that they’re still afraid of catching Covid. They’re still in Walmart after all when they could do pickup or delivery if they were really scared.

I mostly see elderly people still wearing them. Also, far more black people than other races.

I went to Albertsons at lunch today and there was a big white woman with blue hair walking out of the store and across the parking lot with a cloth mask on.

I don't really care but it's very odd. The masks don't even work to begin with

What other people choose to do in regards to masks has never been a concern to me. Expecting and insisting that I do the same has always been the issue.

I just think it’s a little nuts, but you’re right. The masks do absolutely nothing

I have a bad cold and I'm coughing a lot. I had to go to the grocery today so I put on my mask as to not cough into the open air. If that bothers you, too bad.

I'm here for ya brother, but no smooches.

I do enjoy spooning though, as long as you're the little spoon.

Curious…. Did you do that before Covid?
