Honestly have not seen it be that useful, but that’s just anecdotal. I’ve seen some people get an MBA and have little to no work experience and the MBA hurts them because no one wants to pay for an over educated rookie.

from an open doors perspective - absolutely. as long as its from a reputable program (i.e. top 20ish MBA).

There's money to be made in hospital administration.
Like others have said, if you have an engineering, constructing management, AG degree they can be very useful. If you already have a business degree you're not going to really learn anything new, but a lot of times it's a check the box type deal, like a job requires a graduate degree.
Overall, of you aren't paying for it, I don't think it can really hurt, but don't expect to get a corner office job just because you have MBA.

Lot of RNs in management positions have a MBA or MPH. Great way to get knowledge of organizational behavior, quality control, finance and a myriad of other things that would be useful to a RN transitioning form a clinical setting to administration.
