Is A Class Action Lawsuit Possible In Order To Stop BS Fee Charges?

The other day I started a thread about Pizza Hutt and how they charged a $3 delivery fee. If that fee doesn't go to the driver, then what does that money go towards?
Recently I upgraded my cellphone. I looked at the bill today and saw the $100 upgrade fee and it made me think about what exactly is an "upgrade fee"? Is there a service involved, that cost AT&T (or other cell phone companies) to upgrade, that we have to pay for? What service are we receiving that allows them to charge an "upgrade fee"?
I buy a new phone, they send it to me and then I have to activate it. So just because we decide to upgrade our phone they make us pay a fee?
And banks. Some banks charge fees to having a savings account. So someone decides to use a certain bank, which they put their money in, that gives the bank capital to give out loans, etc.. And they charge you a fee for that.
Should it be illegal for companies to charge intangible fees? I am all for companies making as much money as possible, but they shouldn't be able to add fees in which the customer is paying and getting absolutely nothing for.

I’d support class action to ban your IP address.

Surcharge is one of the worst terms ever created.
Let’s see we want to add a fee for no reason whatsoever...it’s not for delivery, not for shipping, not for processing...what do we call it, since it’s just a fee for fee’s sake?
I know...call it a surcharge. Sounds better than extra charge.

Let me get this straight. Instead of having to drive to Pizza Hut to pick up your pizza, they drove it to you instead, charged you a delivery fee, and you don't know what the fee was for and think you got absolutely nothing for the fee?

Insurance. If the driver is in an accident on company time, guess who has to pay for it.

I'd be interested in hearing from any former delivery drivers on whether they get a cut of that. I noticed this fee for the first time recently too. I still feel obligated to tip the customary amount, whether that fee is on there or not because I'm sure it goes straight to corporate. It's kind of ridiculous at the end of the day when a $10 pizza gets another $3 added + whatever you tip + taxes and ends up being nearly double the menu price (Oh, and toss in Domino's carryout insurance fee. Can't be too careful

You know. If you always say "It's only $3" here.. "It's only $5" there.. It actually adds up.

The drivers are not using company vehicles, they are using their own.

Yes, you can file suit and name every company in existence, for fees of varying amounts all of which you likely voluntarily paid or contracted for, and as a class action, define the class as fricking idiots with no viable claim whatsoever.
Seriously, wtf.

It used to be like a $30 charge on every upgrade.
Only thing you pay now is the sales tax. I just got my wife the X and it was like $150 or so in sales taxes.
