Good road cyclists are faster than that chief.

Then I don't have any good road cyclists in my area. It's almost like they take pride in the 15 mph ever growing motorcade behind them

The general look of a pro cyclist is because of low body fat and only being interested in leg day.

She doesn't have the razor sharp cheekbones that some male pros (and the occasional amateur) have.

Where do you live? How often to you see cyclists?

This board has the biggest hate boner for cyclists and most live where cycling is not a popular activity.

It probably has something to do with the fact she was run over by a car. Just my guess.

Shreveport... I don't see it a TON, but when I do it's on the 2-lane winding roads around where I live and work, so passing one is dangerous. it's not uncommon for my commute home after work to be halted by a cyclist induced motorcade.....I don't care if its not everyday...nothing gets me fuming more than my way home being slowed down

The city has also made an effort to put bike lanes a few places, and I have on more than one occasion seen a cyclist riding dead center of a traffic lane when a bike lane was present....DICK frickIN MOVE

Cyclist should be rising on the shoulder or as close to the shoulder as possible in my opinion. It allows for significantly easier passage as well as minimal as possible disruption to the flow of vehicles.

Not all roads have a shoulder.

It's easy for a motorist to patiently wait to pass a cyclist, especially since cyclists are authorized by law to use the roads as well.

She problem averages more than 20 mph on that bike.

The cyclists are doing what the law authorizes them to do. Take up your issue with your local state legislator to see if the law can be changed to your liking. Otherwise, please be careful and don't run over anyone.

Would you prefer they ride on a 6 lane major highway?

Slow down and have your stroke at home.
And you live in Shreveport. Why you want to hurry home?

Because they rarely read the road (bicycling slowly on a busy street), rarely follow the rules (stop signs don't apply to them), and rarely do they care for their own safety (on a road with propelled hulks of sheet metal). Cyclists just suck. No way around it. Giving them road privileges is a retarded idea and the politician that came up with it should be flogged.

They have a legal right to use the road, chief.

Mad that they ride too slow but also mad when they don't stop at a stop sign. It takes a lot of work to get back up to speed after stopping dude.

Wat? That does not make any sense at all.

Someone got jody'd by a gigachad cyclist and is seething and fat. lmaooo.

ETA: Bigger lulz at you expecting perfection from cyclists when vehicle drivers do the same dumb shite you are bitching about.

Lol what a tard.
ALL CYCLISTS SUCK
You probably drive a vehicle. Rarely do vehicle drivers obey the law or stop at stop signs or drive the speed limit or come to a complete stop for little old ladies. a-hole vehicle driver.

No...that would be more assinine. I would prefer they use the fricking bike paths for their hobby like I did when I used to ride bikes. There are probably plenty of places they can spandex up and cruise without inconveniencing others.

Also, I understand the law allows them to do so, I just think it's a dumb fricking law.

Paved roads came about because of cyclists. Vehicle drivers kill and maim each other, pedestrians and cyclist with their shitty driving but yea, cyclists are the assholes.

Bike paths are uneven and not maintained. Road bikes are built and meant for speed; shitty uneven and broken city sidewalks are not safe for road bikes.

Such as the road, which cyclists have a legal right to use.

Stay fat and mad, baw.

You're on a message board where probably 75% of the posters are from Louisiana, one of fattest and poorest states in the union (which also happens to be sinking into the earth), and you expect there to be plentiful bike paths everywhere?
