Ha.
I have a MacBook Pro and a Lenovo P17 Thinkpad with windows 11 pro. There are a couple of things the MacBook does that Thinkpad can't but the reverse is true as well. At least the Lenovo has a backspace AND delete buttons. Hate that Apple doesn't install a true delete button. Also like the numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard.

Both. Android because it’s better and iPhone because a flying app I need is only on iOS

I don't know what y'all are doing wrong, I'm in multiple group chats that work just fine, and many in the chats are mentally challenged so they use iPhones. No issues. There are options for what texting app to use.

I have both for two accounts, but I only really use the iPhone

Laughs in android as we add and delete people in group chat without having to make a whole new chat.
iPhones can do that, silly goose.

The people with iPhones fricking hate it. Your mere existence in the group changes the entire dynamic of the chat.

So tell us why you think computers running Windows are superior to Macs. There are valid reasons people think that. If you're wanting to run games then Windows makes sense. If you're trying to minimize cost then maybe Windows makes sense. Why, specifically, do you find my endorsement of Macs so laughable? Which one are you: gamer neckbeard or improvident tightwad?

Never had an iPhone. Sticking with my android

Which one do you have?
First phone I owned and still working. Why upset the apple cart? Hard lines work without a battery dying and still works if you lose power

Really, they can now?
Last time I asked they still couldn't but it has probably been a couple of years.

Had an iPhone, then in 2012ish, my company gave me a work iPhone. When it came time to replace my personal phone I figured I'd try android since I still had access to iPhone features on the work phone. Never went back to iPhone for personal phone and eventually was able to drop the work phone. I'm not a tech nerd at all and probably dont use 99% of the differentiating features, but the interface of android just works so much better for me.

Switched from iPhone to Android in 2013. Haven't looked back.

iPhone 12, and I never would've even 'upgraded' to this one if it weren't for the shite battery life that inevitably happens after just two years sometimes less.
Looking into an iPhone 15 Plus now... can get $200 trade-in for my current phone with T-Mobile. But it has been nice without the added charge for the device on my bill for the past 6+ months.
Any suggestions on what to upgrade to from the 12?

Not really fair to compare iPhone to Android. One is a phone, the other is an operating system.
Reason why Android phones get a knock for being cheap is because it's an OS available to many manufacturers. That means some manufacturers focus on the "budget market". See Nothing and Nothing 2A. Samsung's best selling phone is of the budget variety as well.
The better Android phones are just as expensive as iPhones. Pixel Pros and the Galaxy Ultras cost start over a thousand dollars and that's for a 128 or 256 gb base model.
Apple beats them on video and video editing. If you're a content creator, probably want to get the iPhone. However, most innovation occurs on Android. The better Android phones are ahead of the iPhones. Apple fell way behind on Siri and is having to beg Google for help on AI. Oneplus, Samsung, and Google are selling foldables. Apple is nowhere to be seen.
Which brings up another point. We don't have much selection in this country. There are great phones overseas where Apple faces real competition. Hassenblad makes the cameras for Oppo/Oneplus while Leica makes them for Xaiomi. Think Apple makes better cameras than them? The Nothing line is a great budget phone. Can't get any of those phones here thanks to the carriers.
The carriers won't offer them and even if you buy them, they won't work on the carrier networks because they won't white list them. The carriers here want you only having four phones to choose from: Samsung, Apple, Motorola, and Google. They would probably like to avoid offering Google but Google is too big to ignore.
So yeah, the iPhone is better than most Android phones but the top Android phones are superior to the iPhone whatever version you call it. Problem is people here don't know it because the carriers like to keep it that way.
