Did anyone else in here immediately wonder how they’d fare in a fight with 3 pit bulls? I’m a normal sized dude but I still like my chances against domesticated dogs unless they have rabies.

3 of them? No. Those things are muscular as frick and they have really strong jaws.
While I do believe that there are some that will never hurt anyone, and it's nurture over nature in most cases, there are enough cases to where I think that purebred pit bulls should be outlawed.not euthanized unless there's a history, but no more should be made.

Pitbulls need to be banned from ownership in the US. They were specifically bred to be a dogfighting breed, it’s in their DNA to be guard dogs and attack others they perceive as threats. The “bUt iT’S aLL aBoUt ThE oWnEr” schtick is pure bullshite and a cop out

Are you the same poster who thought he'd be able to survive a grizzly attack by keeping a tree between him and the bear?
Against one pitbull? Maybe, if you could get your fist down his throat or finger through an eye early in the attack. Three? Zero chance.

I had a family member get attacked by a pack of dogs out at her barn. She would have been killed except for two girls 12 years old went and got a hose and sprayed the dogs with water. The dogs tore the skin and meat off her butt cheeks. The girls knew to do this because the owner had done it before. Total negligence the dogs had a history of it.

My brother had one and always said the same things you hear about pits. One day it went all pit bull and attacked a little girl down the street from him. She was able to slide under a car to hide and only had a cut on her leg from the incident. My brother got rid of the dog and never said another word about it.
Now he has a pug.

My previous neighbors pit came after me and I was scared shitless. I didn't get bit and I was able to throw him off me a few times, but that fricker went straight for the throat every time. They have zero stop to them.

Should we eliminate all small ankle biters? They are the most aggressive dogs you'll ever meet and bite regularly. Can't discriminate because of size. Bad breeds are bad breeds and little ankle biters are among the worst. Since all biting dogs are aimlessly called pit bulls(75-80% aren't actual pit bulls) let's lump the small dogs all together and vanquish them as well. Then we can move to people. Of course start black(the pit bull) then move to the different shades of white.(ankle biters)

I cannot find a single case of someone being mauled to death or to the point of dismemberment by a chihuahua.

Yeah, no. I’ve been attacked by a German shepherd when I was in college and was jogging. Lady walking her dog with no leash, came across the street and locked onto my knee, trying to get me down. I’m a big guy, and was in the best shape of my life in college…. No matter how many punches I threw, he didn’t let go. Someone finally pulled him off of me and I caught him in the throat with a couple of kicks, only time he yelped. Got a savage satisfaction from that.
So no, you wouldn’t do well with three pits locked on you. Dog attacks are scary as frick.
