Did your bad phone not let you see the tech board?

Can you explain what you didn't like?
I’d be happy to.
1. I found it to be incredibly glitchy. Would kill apps, freeze, etc, etc.
2. I think the app quality is second class to apple. For example the chase app on my iphone had more features than the android one. The interface was worse somehow. True of other apps as well.
3. Overall I found android to feel cheap. Hard to describe. Not to mention I didnt want 6 different texting apps.
I actually really wanted it to work out. Iphone was getting stale, time for a change. I went in with an open mind and dedicated time to learn the system. In the end, it wasnt for me. Really made me appreciate my iphone.

I had contact issues myself and like I’d search a contact and it wouldn’t show up but if I dialed it then it did.
I found out how to fix it.
Click on the phone call icon.. then click on contacts from there. Now top left click on groups. Now select all three groups you see.. and boom. All your contacts are back!

My company makes me wait a bit before updating so that they can resolve any conflicts...but I have had pretty good luck with my phones.

I just went back to iPhone after probably 5 years on android. I haven’t noticed any glitchiness with iOS, but my phone is brand new. It’s a shite load less glitchy than any of my androids ever were.

IDon’tBelieveYou.gif to the people saying they haven’t had issues with ios11

Was actually wondering if this was common. iPhone 7 with only about 30GB of music and not many apps. Since I got ios11 it’s been freezing constantly and I have to continuously do a hard restart.

I have a 7 plus and I don’t find the new operating system that bad. My battery life seems to be a lot longer.

Yep. Turn off the WiFi and it keeps turning itself back on

In IOS 11 you can’t turn off WiFi from the control center anymore. It simply disconnects you from the network you are on. Same with Bluetooth. In order to completely turn off WiFi/Bluetooth you have to go into settings. Not sure if this is your problem or not.

Just like any new phone release, the new iOS makes the old phones bricks

Yea I don’t have that problem. Only thing I’ve noticed is the battery life seems to burn faster.

If you drag from the bottom up you can turn everything off. WiFi, Bluetooth, etc
Posted on 10/7/17 at 7:40 am to TigerStripes06
Not in IOS 11. Doing it this way only disconnects you from the current WiFi you’re connected to but does not turn it off. LINK

I tried. IOS tethered imessage to your number. If you ever do switch, you probably wont get half you text messages for at least 45 days, per Apple support
