What's he gonna do with her estate in jail for life?

Use the funds to pay attorneys for millions of dollars worth of appeals.

He just admitted in court that he took the money.
What are you gonna appeal?

Are you insinuating that only innocent people appeal?
Hint, many guilty people get off on appeals due to technicalities.

Ineffective assistance of counsel for allowing him on stand to confess to taking the money

\Working on a parole after doing 10 years of free jailhouse lawyering.
“But Mr Parole Board, I’m a reformed individual, I’ve paid my debt to society. Pleeeze let me go home to be with Buster and Brooklyn, and my offshore bank accounts’.”

That's why the judge asked him numerous times if he needed more time to speak to counsel, understood his rights fully, etc.

ETA: On cross “in any written or oral statement or comment relating to the murders, have you ever referred to Maggie as Mags and Paul as PauPau?” Assuming he has not, of course, which I haven’t heard or seen from him in all this. Maybe a nothing burger question but it stuck in my head.
Self boom

I watched some of that. That was sad. It seems both Alex & Paul went into alter egos when they were drunk, high on pills, stoned. I didn't watch how the girl got out of being sex trafficked. Could she prove it to testify?
I am listening to the trial Pau Pau, RoRo, Bubba.

Did we not read from multiple sources about his (AM's) financial improprieties that he had moved a lot of money to Maggie's name so it couldn't be taken by the beach family lawsuits?
That property is still in her name if that's true.
I wouldn't want to try to probate that estate.

Sweet Jesus this cross examination is captivating. I can feel Waters' disdain through the screen.

State is crushing him about denying having his LEO "badge" at the hospital after the boat wreck. Then producing 2 pictures of him walking around the hospital with the badge hanging out his pocket....BOOM.

Is he on trial for the boat case?

They are painting him as a liar again.

He testified today that he lied about being at the kennels multiple times because he distrusts SLED.
Most of this line of questioning is to show he has no reason to distrust law enforcement because he goes around acting as law enforcement to gain an advantage and is friends with law enforcement.
The boat case is relevant on its own, this makes it even more relevant given his testimony earlier about why he lied to law enforcement in the murder investigation.

When did the badge come up previously for him to even lie about it?
This just shows how weak the State's case is.

anyone with a lick of sense knows all Mur DOCKS (Why do they say MURDOCK?) used the ever loving crap out of that badge. He owned the town in a geeky old bubba way.
BTW I have nicknames for my kids. If I was on the stand for murder and that child was dead I would not refer to their nicknames. I think he is doing it to Gomer Pyle it up.

his lawyers are not objecting so the Judge will let it roll. They are establishing he is a dirtbag.
holy crap I just said this and there is an objection.
Andy Strickland being indicted.

They aren't objecting to avoid looking like they have something to hide.
This cross has been a rambling meandering almost 2 hours with no known relevance to the double murder he's on trial for.

Dude answers every question with a question. Is that a strategy?
