But why after those 20 minutes after seeing the bodies and taking their pulses, would you repeatedly ask the officer if they were dead?
Trauma? Not wanting to believe it? He wanted to make sure he killed them and they couldn't testify against him later? Who knows. I'm generally pro-defendant but the State has not done a great job so far with their opening witnesses in making me believe, beyond a reasonable doubt, he did it.

It was all part of the game he was playing. Acting like he didn't know or if there was hope was all a ploy. Alex grew up hunting so he knows when something is dead.

So we have a mystery tire print... now a mystery shoe/flip flop print?
ETA: ok the flip flop prints belong to the female victim... that did not need to be as long and confusing as they made it out to be

Favorite quote on shite like this.
New lawyer was questioning corner.
(I think the dead guys head was cut off, or brains blown out )
Did he have a pulse? No
Any response to any stimuli? No
Was he breathing? No
About 15 similar questions……
Finally, Any brain function? No
So was he dead?
A: well I guess he could be alive and practicing law somewhere.

Court TV is making a deal out of Alex stopping his conversation with the cop by saying " hey how ya doing" to someone that walked by. Being from SC it's such a ingrained reaction that I do it without thinking about it. It's not that big of a deal, to me, that he said it

The Rekieta panel wasn't so sure he said "hey HOW are you doing" and might've been asking "hey WHAT are you doing"

Yep. Maggie and Paul were supposedly meeting him there to follow Alex to the hospital to check on his father.
Instead, Alex decides to leave them both there to go visit his mom instead?

It is almost like a natural reaction. I do the same thing.

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but what does the lady sitting in front of witness stand (presuming she’s a court reporter type person) have in/ over her mouth??

Alex Murdaugh's son Buster, 26, stares at him in courtroom - before he is set to testify AGAINST him
Alex Murdaugh's lone surviving son Buster - who is on the witness list to potentially testify against his father - witnessed father Alex sobbing during the opening statements Wednesday
The disgraced South Carolina attorney, 54, is accused of shooting his wife, Maggie, 52, and younger son Paul, 22, at their sprawling hunting property in Islandton, a rural corner of South Carolina's Lowcountry, on the night of June 7, 2021.
Buster, 26, is among those expected to testify against the legal scion, as well as Murdaugh's own brothers, John Marvin and Randy Murdaugh.

Buster angrily rejected the suggestion that he is supporting his father when questioned by DailyMail.com, and said, 'I don't want to see it written anywhere that I'm supporting my father'

Buster is currently living in a modest $180,000 condo on Hilton Head Island with his longtime girlfriend, Brooklyn White

It's worth noting that Buster has been accompanied by his girl friend.
Daily Mail has AM telling police that the murders were committed by an undercover FBI handyman who worked on that farm. LINK
Image of AM from police body cam just after AM reported finding bodies and checking if they were alive. Where's the blood?

Signs of struggle when prosecution said in opening there were none?
So many loose ends

It seemed the defense was trying to slide in "signs of a struggle" which the witness corrected and said wasn't in her report.
