Anyone ever use it or other firms that help get inventions going?

I’m sitting on a revolutionary idea and need to figure out how to get beyond a concept

It doesn’t have anything to do with unbreakable windshields does it?

I just so happen to represent such a firm with 5 star reviews. Send me your idea and I will make sure you are protected.

Good luck.

I've spoke with two companies about ideas well beyond the drawing phase. Even reached out to a place in Lafayette to produce some prototypes in a mold form.

The other was more complicated. Basically a simple patent will be 5 grand.

A moderately complicated patent (some circuitry) going to be 10k

Complicated up to 20k.

Good luck. Spent a lot of time on two ideas. One company loved the idea of working and told me to get a representative legally to be a go between with their legal group. They will ask you to speak with their legal teams as they don't want to frick it up or end up stealing someone patent.

Get your patent then shop it save you some hassle.

Patent isn't for the faint of heart.

I actually working on a possible children's series. Let my daughter illustrate it. A copyright is way the frick cheaper.

Good luck

No they need to be breakable from inside out only.

I imagine if you’re not fronting a bunch of money they are going to ask for some level of ownership or rights to your invention. There are no shortcuts when starting a business or building a product.

I’d budget a minimum of 30-40 for decent patent prosecution. But keep in mind selling in the long run isn’t for the faint of heart.

I've helped many people get a prototype for their ideas.
As far as patents though I would encourage that you look into it first before going deep in your pockets. Do a search on your own first for the idea. If you find anything even close to it let that be a flag. It doesn't mean to stop though. It means be very cautious. If a big name company owns it they more than likely will come after you IF it threatens them. But I'm sure you know this.
A patent attorney or agent will cost you about $400-$700 to do a search.
You can also file a patent application for about $250 and it gives you a year to market test your product. The patent office is about 6 months backed up so it buys you some time. But make dang sure your product is at least somewhat market ready. You are on the clock at this point. But this concept and route could save you thousands.
You don't have to have a functional prototype for the patent app but I encourage people with ideas to do that. Investors want to see the product at least (working).
There is a company in New Orleans Patentdive. They help people with ideas on the legal end.
Good luck on your idea. And from one entrepreneur/inventor to another just know that an idea or product is not a business. Being able to market the crap out of it to make a sale and to keep doing that is. But this is all basic knowledge. See you on tv soon I hope!
