Straight overhead right now.

Damn. Clouds just moved into the LP and blocked viewing. I had set an alarm to remind me to go out and watch.

Missed it. The moon is full and bright right now.
You’ve seen images of the near side of the moon.
You’ve seen images of the far side of the moon.
But have you ever seen images of the left or right side of the moon?

Can anyone recommend a good app that you can point your phone at and it would tell you what you were looking at. TIA

It looked further away than last time we saw it. My kid came and looked at it with me though. The joys of Saturday night with no internet for young teenagers

F.Y.I...
The NASA website that predicts (100% perfectly) the worldwide viewing opportunities of the ISS is absolute proof of a globe Earth. The Flat Earthers, who think the space program is a hoax, need not look beyond this to be shown they are wrong.
The only way to accomplish what NASA does with this, without an ISS in orbit, would be to:
- have an aircraft exactly matching the speed and shape (silhouette) of the ISS, but much lower altitude
- flying 24/7/365
- have a fleet of these (or refuel in some clandestine Pacific location, constantly)
No other phenomenon would work, to reproduce what the flyover website predicts, and gets right 100% of the time!

If Ronald Reagan wasn't such a huge piece of shite, would be space station freedom
Apparently folks are ignorant of the historical background of the iss
fricking idiots. My grandpa headed up McDonnell Douglas' end of this endeavor. 100% fact, regardless of your bitch arse feels.

ISS detector does this.
Also you can see the next few times it will pass in your viewing area and what the weather forecast will be (clear/cloudy).
Gives a count down to viewing and reminders an hour before passing

I took this picture when the ISS passed in front of the moon last month

How come I see two space stations in front of the moon?
