Shot sooner and pissed him off. Inevitably leading to a situation where real bullets are still needed. It also adds complexity to changing magazines etc. just shut up idiot.

Man what took other officers so long to get there? Surprised they didn’t tase him on the hill somewhere. Many more officer involved shootings are like this then anything else.

Poor police work by cop that got choked. (as far as putting his gun away too soon). He tried best to talk guy out of it before which was good.

That is why they are training to shoot till the threat is neutralized., Emptying the damn mag on this dude would have been correct given what happened after he took 4 or 5.

How far away do you think tasers can shoot? You expect a cop to risk his life by getting within 20 feet of a guy coming at them with a deadly weapon (knife in this case) to try to stop him by using a taser?

Once you are justified to shoot once, you are justified to shoot 100 times. Anybody who throws a fit because an officer shoots too many times is the dumbest of the dumb. If you fire one round it is with the intention to kill them. So whether it takes one to do the job or 50, it's all the same thing.
