Armed police shoot sword-wielding suspect with rubber bullets

Nothing in that video supports any of your previous statements. Rubber bullets have successfully been used to bring people into custody. Your video illustrates this fact that no one in this thread disputed.

I could have eviscerated your previous remarks point by point but aside from the fact that they have already been dismantled, it would be a waste of time as you refuse to acknowledge the validity of the critiques in the first place. You think the police should be carrying magazines with a mixture of rubber bullets and real bullets. It's pretty hard to take you seriously after that and the stubborn attitude you have taken when your ideas have been soundly rebuffed. Which makes you look...like a douche.

Imagine a family driving by at that time and the perp gets into their vehicle.

It looked like they had the road already closed off which is probably why they retreated to the main road to get away from houses.

Pretty sure I’d rather live with the guilt than be dead. I can seek therapy for my guilt.

There is no therapy if you’re dead.

Speaking of therapy, you seem delusional. Get some help.

Great example here of how ineffective handguns are at stopping people who are off in the head.

It's a shame the officer didnt have a rifle or a shotgun, the perp would have been far less likely to get up and on the officer.

I cant imagine being in a position of having to shoot over my buddies head like that.

People always cry about shooting someone "too many" times. "They didn't have to shoot him that many times, like he was an animal"

This is exactly why you do not stop firing until the threat stops moving. Because they are in most cases "animals".

That LEO is lucky to be alive.

I wonder how a taser would have affected him. Probably not much considering the bullets did very little to slow him down til he caught one in the head.
