I’m not sure what loyalty has to do with anything. People do in fact get loyalty discounts and accident free. For someone to expect insurance premiums to stay flat when everything else goes up is laughable.
A new truck decades ago was a couple thousand bucks, now it’s 60k

You don't understand how mandated insurance coverage works do you? If you one 1 penny on a mortgage you're required to have insurance by the law and if you don't buy it the mortgage company will buy it for you and bill you for it. You can't just chose not to buy insurance.

Has not made an incorrect statement on this thread. Not sure why he’s being attacked. Actually, I do. Ignorance of what aggravates people leads to more aggravation.

Yes I do. We were talking about auto insurance and personal injury lawyers. Why he should carry minimum limits.

Laws don’t require you to carry homeowners insurance. Mortgage contracts do.

Keep studying.

Sorry not sorry? You chose your profession, I chose mine. Pretty sure the goal of most business owners is financial freedom and not being tied to a desk.

Y’all don’t seem to have a problem with injury attorneys. I’ll do an NIL deal if it makes you feel better

Which is horeshit to see a doctor for three minutes and a nurse for two minutes. Then they upcode everything to raise the level of the visit. If you get a bunch of incessant radiology you are looking at $10k easy.

My wife had pneumonia bad and was hospitalized for 2 nights. Oxygen levels in the 70s her dr said if she doesn’t go to hospital she could die. All they did was keep on her oxygen and give her periodic breathing treatments and medication and a few cheap meals.

Got a bill for 11k. Insurance said she didn’t meet perimeters for coverage of hospitalization and it was voluntary, even though her doctor had her admitted. Had to fight them 2 days and have the doctor call them before they gave in

Being the boss in America is great. Pay employees to do the work for us. Doesn’t get too much better.

What caused you to file a claim?

neighbors tree, that they knew was dying, fell through my roof into my kitchen. was literally raining into my kitchen that night. FTR my neighbors insurance company called me directly (i think this is inappropriate) to try to get me to admit that the tree was healthy. not sure what the goal was.

Did you have to pay anything other than your deductible?

i do not recall exact items, but i was out of pocket for a number of things, but was reimbursed after fighting back.

Have you been paying attention to prices of the things insurance companies cover for you? I’m guessing you have not

i pay attention to the world around me. yes.

did i say something you think is BS or disagree with?

Healthy tree, act of God and goes under your insurance.

Unhealthy tree, negligence on your neighbors part and goes on theirs.

Generally speaking
