Saying what? From which company? You said there’s no record of having a policy during that time period

bottom line is this: It's too damn easy to become an insurance salesman.

If that was the case, some of these broke baws on this site would have done it.

If you never had a lapse, then your whole thread is bullshite because it’s not on the agent whatsoever. It’s on the dmv or the carrier. Sounds like you don’t even pay attention to who your carrier is.

Because that’s the culture we live in now. Look at the posts in here telling the OP to name the agent and ruin his reputation and business.

Smooth brains think every profession except their own is a scam and unnecessary

And/or report him to the insurance commissioner.

One phone call and an auditor will be in his arse for their own amusement for weeks.

Once payment was received you should have received a declaration of coverage- no declaration no coverage

lol. That’s not how it works. Because if that were the case then they would still be investigating stuff from the 1990s.

For whatever clerical error he admitted to that caused the flags. How the hell should I know what he did? I just want him to fix it.

It wasn’t an error on his part if you had coverage the entire time jackass. Agents don’t report anything to the dmv

So why did he say it was his fault?

Are you able to use logic to deduce what’s going on? You admit you never had a lapse in coverage, you admit you had evidence of insurance the entire time. As an agent, I can say it must be a clerical or reporting error from the CARRIER and I’m more than happy to resolve it without it being my fault.

Your first inclination was to come on here and blast someone out of frustration. He didn’t cost you shite Karen.
