Influx of Texas drivers

I've noticed an unusual high number of cars with Texas plates traveling I10 between Nola and BR (in both directions) all week. Anyone else notice this? Is there some event happening here locally that is attracting Texans?

Louisiana is kind of on or in the way, both out of east Texas and when heading west back into Texas

They are just escaping the recent string of roadside female cavity searches by Texas LEO.
