Biden has gone to great lengths to stifle domestic oil production growth, while destroying the international oil markets through foreign policy. What part of this is hard to understand?
Domestic oil producers straight up say in their shareholder meetings that they aren't drilling more b/c they like the prices being high. They don't want the price of a barrel to go down. The current President has frick all to do with that.

Inflation is high in every western country and many Asian countries but it's Bidens fault? Energy costs are much higher 8n many countries, I guess that's Bidens fault. I guess ignorance really is bliss.
It's like we are all connected and stuff, where do European countries buy their goods?

Sure they did. And it’s always everyone’s fault but the guy that canceled oil and gas leases when he took offices to handle the climate crisis.

When he said he wanted to end O&G production, he did.

Would you invest in a refinery right now? You know that the government wants that business dead.

Capital spending budgets dropped dramatically when prices fell. They are still lagging behind. The president just doesn't understand WTF he's talking about.

Keystone xl still wouldn't be finished in time for all this. And even then that sold Canadian oil on the world market.
It’s more about the message that canceling ghe pipeline as soon as FJB took office sent. No company who cares about shareholders should invest in an environment where the government openly declares war on the very thing that provides your cash flow.

i love this game that’s being played.
it’s both sides fiscal problem
and Putin’s price hike
and a smidge of COVID
plus the greedy corporations.
it totally isn’t at all Biden’s fault.
maybe like 10% his fault.
he’s been in office for a year and a half. he’s written 4 dozen+ executive orders, they have the House and the Senate, the administration has used COVID scare tactics to hurt supply chains, blamed every corporation in the country for national economic troubles, sent billions to foreign countries, and continued to print money….all while knowing massive inflation was hitting and a likely bad recession is looming.
i believe it, totally not his fault at all. 0%. nothing he could’ve done. this crisis just happened to fall at his feet and all us dummies are using him as a scape goat.

They have spent billions and billions over the last few years. Shale plays, drilling, consolidating, and expanding their core business practices away from fossil fuels all cost money.
They are fighting for survival and are under daily attack. They have no choice but to refill their coffers. Their shareholders would revolt if they didn’t start to save money and start operating in the black.

It was a rapid transition. But they identify as honest and expect to be treated as such.

Keep on believing Biden and his handlers aren't playing a part.
If you want to play the "other countries are bad, too" game, why is it then the US inflation is higher than other said western countries?
