Both are wrong, I think B is worse.

I wonder if that would fall along gender lines?

Well answer the question and then we have an answer from each gender as a starting line.

But A is a one time thing, and even though B isn't physical its long-term so for me it seems worse. I'd think most females would agree. BUT it also depends on your definition of cheating as defined in your own relationship as well.

I'd think B. While a is a failure and your commitment to your partner, B seems to indicate a greater chasm in the relationship...

So which of the following is worse?

A. A one time emotionally empty romp in the hay

B. A non-physical 'affair' where they are in love and emotionally need each other instead of respective spouses?

I'm worth more than either of those options, your arse is to the curb for either.

People are weak and given the right circumstances it could happen to probably anyone.

Celebrated 45 years of marriage yesterday and to my knowledge neither have crossed the infidelity threshold - have considered but never had the guts to go beyond emotional attraction - which can be a can of worms unto itself.

My advice - for those considering; stop - look both ways and repeat. Thinking beyond oneself has a sobering effect.

Unbelievable this thread is still going on.

Dont marry a whore, its very very simple. If you do there will be infidelity.

Every man knows, even if the chick is hot as shite and you love that monkey, if she is deep down a whore. It is then your choice to marry her or not.

There are way more cucks out here than I thought that either cant keep their woman in line or are outright pussies.

In three years, my wife ruined my trust in women, my self-confidence, and popped out our baby 9 months after she told me she was in love with my friend. Yes, I got a paternity test. Now, I’m doing my best to keep my house while paying child support. Her and the new dude are getting a cushy house on the nice side of town living it up while their former spouses battle depression and financial woes.

Theres way more to this story.

If you stay with someone who has cheated on you than at some level you have stated that you will tolerate it. If I find out my wife cheated on me it is over. Same if I did it to her, it is something we both made clear that is something we would not tolerate. If someone stays with someone who has cheated on them than don't cry about it ,because if they do it once than they will do it continuously.

if you stay with someone who cheated on you, you are a coward.

I mean, either one, I'm out.

I've been fortunate, evidently, in that I've never been married to any woman that would do either.

And if I was, and I found out, ok, fine, we're both moving on.

Making the correct decision in the first place saves a lot of heartache

I mean, not really, but I’ve posted an entire thread about it. I don’t have anything to hide.
