Inexplicably remembering insignificant dreams from years ago

I've done this several times this week alone, let alone over the years.

I'll dream something insignificant and forget about it for years--maybe even a decade. Then, all of a sudden, my brain will conjure it up for some reason and I remember it perfectly after never having thought about it.

Our brains are amazing, warehousing trillions of our thoughts, just waiting to access them again.

Anyone else have this happen often?

Just wait til your approaching retirement and still get the "I've been skipping this class all year, and now it's inevitable that I'm going to fail the course" dream.

I have nearly the same one (out of school for 4 years now): I accidentally select a class without realizing it when registering online, never show up and get called in by the dean who tells me it's going on my transcript. Glad to know this will never go away

When I was a kid, 2nd or 3rd grade, one night at the dinner table with my family I got up to use the bathroom. When I was washing my hands, for whatever reason, I looked at myself in the mirror and told myself I am always going to have this memory of looking in this mirror at this moment. I went back to the table and sat down, and “captured” that scene in my mind as well. I have occasionally thought back on that random, strange moment ever since. It’s like my kid self knew he was speaking to his future and my future self is speaking to that kid. I’m 34 now.

What about waking up with a song in your head you haven't listened to in years; and you can hum the tune perfectly?

How does everyone have that dream? It sucks. The professor usually says something to the effect of “you can still pass the class if you get an A” and then I look at the test and it has like riddles on it instead of proper questions.

Had this dream for several years after graduation, but thankfully It’s recurrence has passed.

Happens to me frequently as well. Maybe there's some connection.

I have memories that I’ve replayed in my head from when I was a kid and I don’t know if they are dreams or actual memories. What’s weird is that it feels like I used to know which one they were.

I'm not sure that I've ever had that classic school dream. The only one I've had consistently of me being a student is showing up to class nude. Wonder what the metaphor is.

The variation I frequently have of this is being a teacher unprepared for class. While I haven't taught school in nearly a decade, I still have it every couple of months. I wake up nearly in a panic.

Or the going to school without clothes on, or the slightly varied wearing free dress on a non free dress day (when I was younger).

Yep. It's very strange... I can recall pieces of dreams from 20+ years ago. Most of them are just random things like driving on a trip somewhere. Weird.

ahh my friend you are missing it. Our subconscious sees everything, hears everything, knows everything. It is the source for us becoming Gods ourself.

Write it down there is a message there, your subconscious is trying to tell you something, or a relative or angel etc.

Look it up if needed.
