That is not what the posts in this thread suggest.

There are currently only two racists on this thread. They have the downvotes because, well, they're racists.

How is this legal?

The same way forcing students to pass one math class to graduate is "legal."

Why don’t they start of the class with statistics and overall race percentages of incarcerated men/women?

And if this passes the LSU Faculty Senate, taking this course in left-wing racialism would be a requirement of graduating from LSU.
frick that. If you want to sign up to be told you're evil by black liberation radicals, that's on you. Requiring it is a deal breaker for a lot of people.

After a season of not going to campus and realizing im ok with it, shite like this might make me completely cut ties with LSU. There would be zero chance I would let my kids attend a university that requires this shite.

When are they going to incorporate the "how to not be a kunt" curriculum? That's a bigger issue than all of this racist bullshite.

The value of a degree from a 4 year university is being diminished by the day.

It's been diminishing for a while already. Students want to be so coddled and spoon fed everything, and many universities are providing disincentives to faculty who try to push beyond this. Administrators who want the tuition dollars to continue subtly pressure faculty toward relaxed standards.

Going to college is rapidly becoming a social experience over an academic experience. With the access to online education, college campuses are turning into big SJW indoctrination with some partying on the side.

AFAIK the faculty senate doesn't have the authority to actually implement any of this stuff. That said, my nephew would have been the fourth generation of my family to attend LSU. Instead, he's a freshman at La Tech this fall. So far they've avoided most of this nonsense. I'm not disappointed in his choice.

It already is. It's just networking.

For many people, the traditional allure of the "big college" experience is diminishing rapidly. Why pay a premium when most of what made big colleges worth it is being whittled away?

Free market, come and save us! I would love to see smaller, degree-intense colleges open up. Ones where the same 4 years could be spent almost entirely on your major. Freeing up the first 2 years of bullshite and replacing those hours with job-ready-type courses.

Between stuff like this and regretful sluts a college campus is a virtual land mine now. Racist, misogynist or both take your pick.
