In what order would you watch the first 6 Star Wars movies?

We all know episodes 4 5 6 is from '77, '80 and '83 and episodes 1 2 3 is from '99, '02 and '05. With that said if you had someone who has never really been into Star Wars but wants to watch them now, in what order do you show them in? Do you go with the order in what they were made, 4 5 6 1 2 3 or chronologically, 1 2 3 4 5 6?

4,5,6. I tell myself the others never happened.

You watch the good ones first, or they will have no interest in finishing any of them after Jar Jar.

4, 5 and 6
Don't tell them that 1, 2 and 3 exist

Watch 7 first is what the movie/tv board told me

This is the only way to do it. Or just skip I-III altogether.

quote:No. Those are not how I know them. They are "A New Hope" (or just plain "Star Wars"), "Empire Strikes Back," and "Return of the Jedi."
We all know episodes 4 5 6 is from '77, '80 and '83
Watch those and pretend the others never happened.

4, 5 and 6, but call them 1, 2 and 3 and skip 1, 2 and 3 altogether.

Star Wars, Empire and Jedi.
Skip the rest.

On my rewatch that's what I'm doing as well.
Funny how storywise Episode 1 is largely irrelevant.
