We all know episodes 4 5 6 is from '77, '80 and '83 and episodes 1 2 3 is from '99, '02 and '05. With that said if you had someone who has never really been into Star Wars but wants to watch them now, in what order do you show them in? Do you go with the order in what they were made, 4 5 6 1 2 3 or chronologically, 1 2 3 4 5 6?

You watch the good ones first, or they will have no interest in finishing any of them after Jar Jar.

This is the only way to do it. Or just skip I-III altogether.

No. Those are not how I know them. They are "A New Hope" (or just plain "Star Wars"), "Empire Strikes Back," and "Return of the Jedi."

Watch those and pretend the others never happened.

4, 5 and 6, but call them 1, 2 and 3 and skip 1, 2 and 3 altogether.

On my rewatch that's what I'm doing as well.

Funny how storywise Episode 1 is largely irrelevant.
