Anybody else tired of hearing the following phrases in every commercial these days:
“In these uncertain times...”
“We are all in this together...”
“As we adjust to our new way of life...”
Jesus Christ it’s like a marketing firm wrote documentation for somber phrases and now every brand and company is trying to cash in on it.
The amount of emails I got when this shite first started from every single business I gave my email address to was staggering. I don’t give a shite how your team is “preparing to take every precaution against Coronavirus” Jiffy Lube, Dave & Busters and Texas de Brazil.
Anyway, here’s another thread to bitch about COVID-19, since the first 65 weren’t enough. Ready for this shite to end.

I tell my old clients “you stay healthy out der, nah, cher!”.

This doesn’t really bother me. Maybe you run a small business and need new wireless accounts for some employees. Maybe you’re now working from home in a situation where WiFi isn’t ideal and you need a 5G hotspot.
Or maybe you need an extension on your bill.
It’s the company that I ordered a box of checks from 6 years ago sending me an email letting me know how they’re handling COVID-19 that’s annoying. Not a specific call directed to you.

Yes. Thank God they called me because I have desperately needed these things to run my business and was just sitting next to the phone waiting on a call to let me know they were available.
I set up all my preferences as DON’T CONTACT ME because I don’t have time for sales calls. COVID comes along and all of a sudden every vendor is disregarding that.
