Does anyone have Metlife
I am in north Ms.
I have had Metlife home and auto for almost 20 years. I have had 1 homeowners claim for a new roof. Zero issues.
1 auto claim for a totalled Z71. Had the truck been paid off, I could have bought the same truck with the same mileage. No problems there either.
I pay $175/month for an Odyssey and a 4Runner. Home owners is $1175/ year.

Insurance costs are regulated by the state and are generally based, at least in part, on the economics of the company's payout history....think about that for a bit.

Just switched from State Farm to usaa. My wife had 1 small accident, single car, no injuries, and they doubled both our rates. Usaa came in at about 40% of the State Farm premium. We switched our car and home policies. In Louisiana, there is also the not insignificant 2% hurricane deductible with SF which usaa did not have, regular deductible applies to all windstorms.

My GEICO quote is ridiculously cheaper than what I've been paying my long time car insurer for the same coverage. This is even with teen drivers.

Does anyone have Metlife, Liberty Mutual or Travelers?
I recently switched from Liberty Mutual to Progressive and am saving about $150 a month from what Liberty Mutual was fixing to charge me for the same coverage. I never had an accident or a ticket while with Libery Mutual, but they steadily raised my rates every year until I finally had enough of it.

How the hell were you spending over $4k a year on auto insurance and not think something wasn’t right?
OP, you gonna answer this? Do you have 3 teenagers with sports cars?

My agent has never personally called me.

I have MetLife. It was the only company that would insure my 80 year old house. House insurance is $2100 a year. Cars are $2300 a year. Cars are a 94 Mercedes e320 Cabriolet and 2015 Hyundai Equus. I have 1k collision deductible and 500 dollar comprehensive deductible.
I don't think either rates are unreasonable... shopped it through an independent agent, after I had problems finding someone to insure the house

I'll say this about Geico. As much as I hate those spots they have, they were easy to deal with for a claim I had to make.
I use Farm Bureau but someone had backed into my car at work and dented the nose section.
They left a note and I called them.
Took it to Parker autobody it ran over the initial estimate. They quickly paid the difference with zero trouble.
Never would I have expected that.
