I’m in the market for a new mattress. Queen size would be fine. Don’t want to spend the ridiculous $3,000-4,000 but don’t want to buy some POS either that’s uncomfortable and will go to shite in a year.
I went to a Mattress Firm here in Lafayette and the Sales employee was one of those over hyped used car types. I normally just write those off as completely full of shite from the jump.

Any suggestions on where to look? And what type to look for?

Looking to keep it around $1,000 total btw mattress and box spring. What y’all got?

I have a helix memory foam. It’s definitely more firm than most memory foams and good blend of traditional.

I screwed up and bought a high dollar one from them about 6 months ago. A BIG POS. And yes, they were no help after the sale.

Hey Walt. How can I give you my email without putting it out to the rest of these jackasses? Are you around Lafayette?

I have my personal email and my work email. Both of which have my name in it. Can you give me your email?

Is that the one off plank or something? Old black fella? The one that makes it to order?

I’ve heard great things

In BR go to Wholesale Mattress Factory on Florida Blvd. it’s an old warehouse where they make the mattresses. I buy all my mattresses there - got a top quality king pillowtop about 6 mos ago for 1000. The guy is white not black
