I’m not sure why you came here to post this. Are you a politician or faith leader? Is that why you’re losing your job? I’m not reading this whole thread to find out.
Cheating is never good but cheating when you have kids is the worst thing you can do. Also, cheating with one her friends on top of that, is the cherry on top. I think the only thing worse you could have done was slept with the friend’s daughter who was also underage.
I’m not sure why you confessed while you were on a trip or why you let your kids know about it either. You pretty much hit everything thing in the list of things not do.
All of this being said, do not do anything else stupid and pray that your wife and kids can be forgiving. Good luck!

If you’re good looking and good in the sack, you’re probably safe.
Most cheating starts when the wife starts withholding sex after kids are born.
