In need of prayers

I know kind of how this will go but if there are a few people out there who will read this and say a prayer for my family and me it's worth it. I told my wife last night about an affair i had been carrying on with one of her good friends. We have three young amazing children whose childhoods i have irreparably harmed. I know i am not the victim in anyway but this is truly hell on earth. Please say a prayer for my wife and children and if you can spare one for me I'm in need. This will also cost me my job and i have no idea how I'm going to provide for them. Please if there is one person out there thinking about engaging in an affair of any kind please reconsider for the sake of your soul and everyone you care about.

What made you decide to tell her?

Prayers to all involved. My first wife cheated on me. We had no kids thankfully, but it was pretty unbearable and my life was a mess for months.
Lean on God, and do whatever you need to, to win back some of her trust, a small piece at a time.

Ive never met you Randy but I just took a minute to ask the big guy to provide you some strength and direction. I also asked the same for your family, as well as comfort and support.

He’s probably a college football coach.

Soul crushing guilt, the hope of restoration, a god that i wasn't convinced existed until last night because no earthly power could have made those words come out of my mouth

That's some heavy dope for 7AM
What you want can probably be done, but it'll be a long, long slog.

If you are being honest, we are born sinners. You messed up. You are human, and a man. Adam ate the apple, and here we are. Make your apologies. Move on, while taking care of your kids.
Let your wife grieve, scream and yell. Prayers for your family.
