re: In honor of tomorrow’s July 4th Constitutional Carry Day, what’s the new trending CC guns?

Not trending but I bought a Springfield EMP 3 1911 a while back and that damn thing shoots unbelievably accurate for a 3 in barrel.
It took me some time and money to find the right self defense ammo that it would feed reliably but once I did it is easily the most shootable “concealed carry” handgun I’ve ever shot. I expect the Colt Defender would be similar.

The Hellcat is great… double-stack magazine gives you 15 rounds in a very low profile gun. Very concealable.

I carry a Glock 43X MOS. The Sig 365 (and its variants) is the best-selling pistol in the U.S. again. The Shield series are still great guns. You've got more than ever to choose from, baw.

My daily. Gotta have the aluminum mag release and Shield Arms mags. The pistol carries 15+1 and my spare has 15+5.

I like my G19.

Springfield xD in a StealthGear holster, because it’s hot as balls outside.

all good choices. I have all 4. M&P Shield is best for the money, it's the cheapest and will do the job. Sig is the best of them all. You can't go wrong with any one of these. Price and your holsters may make the difference for you. Buy an ankle and waistband holster so you can adjust, depending on what you are wearing.

FN Reflex looks like a good Sig 365 alternative.

I’m still rocking pm9 for like over a decade. Should have went pm40 but what ever more bullets

Big fan of the 365 I just don’t have an issue with my khar it’s small and has always gone bang

Kahr is coming out with a line of pistols that take the Sig mags, with or without their signature Dao trigger.
Unfortunately, it means they lose their other signature feature, there slimness.
It's a shame they couldn't come up with a 1.x stack mag that increased their capacity over their traditional single stack, but didn't require a wider grip. A solution somewhere between single stack and the current trend of 1.5 stack, while retaining their slimness and Trigger, could have brought me back.
I'm not sure the trigger alone will be enough to justify buying a whole new gun and holster, though being able to use p365 mags that I already have might just be enough
Eta: X series. LINK

Out of the box, sure. The customization options with hammer fired weapons are unreal. I have a reduced reset kit, a nickel sear, all the nickel parts HK sells, trigger spring, firing pin block spring, all the hammer springs to dial it in, and the trigger is tapped for an overtravel stop…no striker could ever compare.

Usually CC a Sig 365XL or a S&W M&P 2.0 but it's on the bulkier side for CC.

On ankle yes, depending upon what type of pants you're wearing.

Got an M&P Shield Performance Center. Sweet shooting gun & can slide in the pocket on days when I'm working in the East

M&P Shield. I also really like CZ, it compares to the G19 (to me) and is good OOB without modifications.

FN pistols are criminally underrated.
