I was here explaining how years of the initial inflation were caused by Trump's Covid policies/spending, only to have idiots try to argue with me

I’m trying to remember what happened in Q1 of 2020. Just can’t seem to put my finger on it.

Eta: I always forget when I’m amongst the barely functional retards of the OT. Carry on retards. In this realm, you’ll continue to feel the comfort and safety of marching behind the retard banner of retards such as SFP.

Your chart doesn’t even have Biden on there.

It’s pretty much saying he’s had three terms. You guys are pretending the last 4 years of Biden didn’t exist.

No

Inflation was 1.4% when Trump left office in December 2020. It was the democrats who rammed through the “American Rescue Plan in March of 2021

I fixed it. I guess i figured everyone knew he left in the middle of Jan 2021 and Dec 2020 was his last full month in office.

You are retarded if you don’t think the American rescue plan was the biggest contributor to inflation during the last 4* years

Compare how much was actually spent on the American rescue plan in year 1 to what was actually spent on Covid policies in 2020

You probably don't remember why we had 3 rate cuts 2nd half of 2019 either, so it's understandable

How convenient to exempt most of the terrible spending bills under trump. Let's add 8.5 months onto your chosen window and revisit your statement, shall we

Were we still in the middle of a Covid emergency in April of 2021?

A love that you are defending Biden’s reckless spending while pointing the finger at Trump’s spending during an emergency

Was we? Yes.

I am not, you retard.

I'm just showing his spending hadn't had time to impact the economy when inflation, a lagging indicator, started to pick up.

quote:

while pointing the finger at Trump’s spending during an emergency

Well it caused massive inflation. That's not good.

Meh, gas is a little over $2.50 per gallon. Grocery prices remain high but don’t seem to be increasing much. Those prices probably aren’t going down.

Convenient that you think we was in the same situation in March of 2021 as we were the year before. Even your party’s economic guru and Jeffery Epstein buddy, Larry Summers, admitted the ARPA was wrong and would drastically increase inflation (he was right, too)
