Agreed. I would expect it to look something similar to Ukraine. They are looking for a take-over, not destroy and move on.

Perhaps it is something we want to be known, BBTAIM, China probably has almost as many spies in DOD as Israel so it is pretty hard to keep a secret even if we want to.

China will just level Taiwan and utilize a long term repopulation strategy. The US will be engage in political warfare which will decimate our military even more.

I think we skip the cold part of war with China. I can't see us fully cutting off all economic ties because it would cause a supply shock in the USA. Probably will ramp up espionage though.
Japan and S. Korea have to be feeling squeezed a bit right now too.

china will invade before 2024, they cant risk biden being beaten so they have to already be at war by election time so they cant be stopped if trump wins.
its plain as day what they are doing, they are only delaying now so they can try to take taiwan in tact and undamaged. if they cannot take taiwan, they will destroy its chip building capabilities so the rest of the world has no computer chips to run anything on.

A Chinese blockade of the Taiwan does the same thing because those precious semiconductor materials won't make it to the factories and the US will be forced to either declare war on China or suffer severe economic turmoil until we can build our own semiconductor plants on US soil.

Taiwan has over 400 combat jets And 1.8 million ground troops including their armed civilian army. I think China “going fast” could only happen if they dropped a nuke.

Thankfully the whole woke movement hasn’t hit USASOC as hard as the rest of the military.
My son was involved in those exercises on Bragg (that’s not his helo pictures he flies the Blackhawks) and I know first hand his unit is still pretty full of knuckle draggers.

SOF is like 94-98% white males depending on the branch.
Infantry and other combat arms are like 75-80% white depending on the branch.
Marines are the whites, youngest and more male than any other branch by far.
Basically the closer you get to combat the whiter the demographics are. Hispanics have decent representation though. Blacks are the most underrepresented in the combat arms, I think native Americans may have a higher percentage in the SOF than blacks do.
