In the 1940's when Delta moved to Atlanta, ATL had around 500,000 people. Monroe had, what? 15,000?

disney actually scouted new orleans east towards the northshore; but, there were too many hands out for his liking so he created a phantom corporation and bought up land in florida. new orleans would have been a different city today had the corruption not intervened in his search for a massive tract of land.
