Are they waist high or just go to your crotch?

Waist high for the win, otherwise they will bunch at the knees. But I don’t wear them anymore since CIS fixed my varicose veins.

Plenty of benefits from good comp socks. Work up to the higher mmHg levels. Thank me later.

I have been thinking about trying them as my ankles are slightly swollen by the late afternoon.

<—— Been running in CEP Compression Socks for the past six years.

German company, the socks are expensive but durable.

CEP Homepage Link

They’re available through Amazon, etc.

If you’re active, get some and you’ll thank me later.

I hate them, in the summer it is like having a hot anaconda wrapped around your lower leg.

I developed a blood clot in my calf after knee surgery and started wearing one to help with the the swelling. Pretty crazy how well they work and I’m only doing 15-20 mmHg compression. Just wear it during the day and take it off to sleep. No discomfort at all. I think they can help with post thrombotic syndrome and limit or minimize venous insufficiency after a provoked blood clot. Not sure how well they work for varicose veins. I work for CIS and see plenty of patients with varicose veins who wear them and it doesn’t appear to actually make them go away. Maybe it helps with the discomfort.
