Stressful job. Raising small children.
I'm 39 and slowing down. I need to get back in the gym and lose some weight, but I'm so frickin tired at the end of every single day.
I just need like a little boost to give me the energy to get motivated to be more active. What you good baws taking for energy boosts?

Have you ever had a sleep study?

I take one gas station boner pill in morning, and one in mid afternoon.

Cut the junk food. Eat eggs and beef and fruit and start lifting.

Get your Testosterone checked.
43 here, with a one year old, and a stressful job.
Been on injections for about a 6 months. Feel like I’m 20 again, and giving the wife the best 2 mins of her life, multiple times a day.
Eta: 43, not 44. You turn 40 and honestly forget your age.

Testosterone. It works. Have your levels tested

Eat cleaner foods, get your testosterone checked, and start taking probiotics for gut health.

In addition to the sleep study and testosterone levels, have you thyroid checked as well.

I think I had lower levels at last bloodwork. I wouldnt mind injections but I'm told long term will cause prostate cancer.

Swing through West Memphis AR and pick up some high-speed chicken feed from the guy in the Dodge Chatger in the Flying J parking lot.

You’re still young.
It’s all about momentum. Cut out the inflammatory foods. Eat protein (.6-.8g/total body weight). 30g of fiber. Sleep at least 7 hours a night. Commit to a healthy lifestyle.
Start with a basic strength training program. Nothing too strenuous yet (GreySkull is good).
Walk 8k-10k steps a day. Get them throughout the day. A few ten minute walks here and there will get you close.
I bet you’ll feel a million times different in 2 months. You won’t need to take much else.

What were your levels?
I was at 250ish, which is low. I’m at 1100 now. Has changed my life.

No that’s not right. Is there an increase in chance? Yes, but everything in this world these days “can” cause cancer. You’ll be fine, do it.
